I chose to do my digital storytelling project on the three types of clouds. I encountered no problems with using iMovie on my macbook. I found the program very easy to use and think my students will not have a problem once I have modeled for them how to make a digital story telling project. I am thinking I will make a video on "how to make a digital story" and will show my class to introduce the project.

Tool #7 Digital Story Telling
Digital story telling will be great in my classroom. I enjoyed working with imovie because every time I use it, I become more comfortable with the program. My students will be doing digital story telling projects for all subjects in my classroom. In my classroom I could have them make a digital story on a book that they just read or in social studies I have have them make a biography of an important person in history. The possibilities are endless!

Hey girl! I really liked the video you made. You are going to have to teach me how to put titles on each slide. I did an iMovie, and I was having a hard time putting titles onto some of the clips. But, at least my first slide has a title. I think your video would be perfect to use in the classroom. I know last year's 2nd graders talked about cloud formations, types of clouds, and so on. With your video they could get a quick refresher! And then if you want, you could then maybe have them do a "quick write" on what they learned last year about clouds. It's really good! I like it a lot! :-)
